The Garden Rainwater Harvesting System has been designed to provide a good quality, reliable, and cost- effective solution for those wishing to go a stage further than a conventional garden water butt. In particular it is suitable where a hose-pipe ban is likely during our increasingly dry summer months, and enables the user to store a significant quantity of water to get through prolonged dry periods.

The harvested water is collected by a special filter unit which removes any debris present (leaves, moss, bird lime etc.) and diverts the cleaned water into one or more bulk storage tanks. The debris and a small amount of water continues to the drain in the usual manner. Being naturally soft and relatively uncontaminated, rainwater is ideal for all plants (especially lime-haters), garden ponds and also reduces the detergent required when used for car washing.

The system is supplied as a complete DIY package requiring the minimum of fuss to install:

• 1300-litre polyethylene tank (above-ground use only) complete with inlet and outlet connections, isolating valve, electrical connection box & boss for linking additional tank(s).
• Wisy RS type downpipe filter collector. 90%+ efficient.
• Submersible jet pump with integral flow control and dry-run protection.
• Pump suction filter.
• Additional 1300-litre tanks can be added if required
• J Wisy RS type filter is suitable for roof areas up to 80m2.
